Consider Kinesthetic Learning
Kinesthetic learning is, in essence, a style of learning whereby the students take part in physical activity while digesting different subjects and learning new skills.
Popularised by Neil D. Fleming, the style is suited to learners who find they are most engaged with the learning process while also remaining active. Many students who struggle with traditional classroom learning find this style particularly effective.
Key learning strategies can be incorporated into a variety of different environments, with the simplest method simply involving standing up rather than sitting down. Standing desks are very helpful for this methodology.
Study sessions can also be combined with exercise, alternating activities with cramming knowledge on a specific topic. However, there’s no need to engage in high-octane exercise to make the most of this style. It can also be incorporated in smaller ways, such as making room for repetitive motions (like catching a ball) or simply using lots of highlighter to make concepts more colourful and visually stimulating.
