Students Learn Differently

Commonly, teaching practice relies on an outdated ‘one size fits all’ approach, which does not suit all learning styles. Every student has a different way of discovering the world, and this means teaching staff must be agile if they really want to succeed.

Get to know your classroom

Understand the different personalities in your classroom, and observe how they respond to the teaching materials which are provided. Do they seem engaged? If not, it might be time to switch up your teaching style.

Try new methods

Don’t be afraid to experiment with new teaching styles, particularly if you aren’t seeing great results from existing methodologies. Be sure to discuss any changes with other teaching staff, as they might be able to implement some of the same ideas in their own classrooms.
